Easter eggs are going half price today in Tesco I believe.

    CWxx

None left in my stores on Saturday, looked like the leftovers from a big sale when I went in late, so no chance of finding any half price :(:(
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

 not sure whether I envy you or not judging by the crowds when I was out shopping today. Get anything nice?

Peeing with rain here, typical bank holiday weekend weather. Still, garlic bulbs are sprouting and I think some of the seeds I planted are also starting to show some action, was a bit worried as I noticed some of the tomato seeds I was given were past their date to use. Lots of plants in the garden starting to wake up, our wisteria is just starting to sprout leaves, love the way it goes from looking so dead to being all green really quickly. A cottage near us has wisteria blooming already but think theirs must be a different variety.

I didn't but the girls did really well!
Yesterday did river cruise (tesco vouchers of course) to Greenwich, saw Cutty Sark, market, had lunch out, etc. A great day.
Now in British Museum having a cuppa. Home later

Good luck with your plants esp the tomatoes. I think that tomatoes always taste a lot nicer when home grown more than any other veg. Supermarket ones seem to be tastless like a lot of fruit esp strawberries

Not a lot of movement from any of them atm except the garlic - gosh I'm an impatient gardener.

Was that with City Cruises? We did a trip with them last July down the Thames to Greenwich with my nephew. Commentary was really funny (and very akin to 'let us point out all the lovely pubs on the way to Greenwich :rotfl:) We had lunch and walked up to the Observatory, although I refused to pay to stand on the date line...I mean SERIOUSLY? that should be free. I also wanted to stop and climb St Pauls - again some stupidly large charge, although I'd rather pay that if it goes towards maintaining the building - that i can understand but the date line needs what, a regular Brasso and that's it :rotfl:

Did Primark on Ox St get hit?

    Lol yes of course!

The Greenwich thing - it's possible to do it for free. I googled Greenwich on a budget and you can do the meridian line for free :)

Yes it was City Cruises, chap gave us a bit of a discount too so saved a £10 deals voucher. Very funny commentary, recommended, just pick a 2 level boat not those all glass single decker jobs - be like a greenhouse in summer!

Back home last night, lovely grub and vino in First Class :D

Oh yes, I've just found it, darn wish I'd known that sooner but thanks x

Our city cruise boat was open topped / 2 level thank goodness, did you also pick a riverside apartment in the old quays? Gorgeous but a fortune I bet. Oh, and I wonder if the people at the pool at the Virgin Gym site you go past at Canary Wharf know you can see right it :rotfl:

I'm not surprised about the price tags , I expect not many are less than £1m tbh given the location. The old warehouse buildings are gorgeous though.

    Still raining here.....
