Morning all,I gave up selling much on ebay ages ago, you get hit with too many fees that if you sell something for a low price it's barely worth it by the time you account for the time spent posting the item too. Just get my act together for a car boot soon.

Day of home stuff today, planting seeds, cleaning, washing etc. been such a busy week at work need some down time at home.

How you feeling CW? And PM if you're about too? Xx

I still have a rotten cough and have now passed my cold etc to my DS who now is feeling ill as well.

Won't be doing too much today as if I move around it makes me cough even more.

Well took OH over to wickes today for some muscle, came home with two bags of bark to put down once I've dug up a yukka with root rot and repositioned another bush, and a couple of bags of pea shingle that has been put down...and need about five more.

Seeds planted in now, so might get some toms and basil, as well as a couple of garlic cloves which I don't hold out much hope for. Also put up some solar lights, but not sure the solar panel is going to catch enough sun yet.

Measuring up for some new log roll, soon adds up and reckon we need more than we thought.yikes.

Well done Kerri - Lovely day in the garden yesterday. I've got some raised beds I got free from next door neighbour and last year did the best carrots and peas I've ever grown in them. I also did some salad and herbs. So yesterday, cleared out the remaining stuff, spring onions, a few carrots and a load of parsley (it went mad!) and put some more peas in, and sowed some carrots and mixed salad. I've left half of one of the beds empty to sow more salad later otherwise It'll all come at the same time.

On Saturday we went to the new Morrisons that's opened near us and did a biggish shop. Made a nice change and as a promo we managed to pick up a 10% discount card that lasts for 2 months and I also used a £10 gift voucher I'd got for doing Sun+ (which was total rubbish but worth it for the voucher ) to we got a decent amount of money off.

Thanks Jeferey, i am left with a bad cough now but have managed to give my cold to my DH and DS. MY DS is now not very well at all, his nose is streaming atm. Just hope it all clears up soon.

So my lawn didn;t get done yesterday which is a pity as the grass has grown quite a lot in the last 2 weeks since it got its first mow of the year. It will just have to wait.


I am not fond of Morrisons tbh. I am not sure why but it could be something to do with the fact that years ago we parked the car near the back entrance and could see loads of rats running around in the yard where the deliveries were made. It was lunchtime and people were walking past and the rats weren;t bothered about it so clearly used to a lot of people being about. I was horrified as there must have been at least 8 rats climbing on those metal trolleys that they use to transfer food etc on and running around the ground. yuk.

Lovely sunny day today and a bit warmer too. Wish we all didn;t have a cold, might have got the garden done. While me, dh and ds are all coughing for England its not worth trying.

That garden/allotment is keeping you busy Jeferey. Hope her sunflowers grow quickly
