Good morning CW & everyone. Another miserable day today but hopefully it won't be too long till we are complaining about it being too hot
Not been supermarket shopping for a couple of weeks now as can't be bothered getting involved in the risky glitches and trying to eat out of the freezer and cupboards. It's amazing the amount of stuff you find that never knew you had bought when get to the back of cupboards:cool:
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Sunny here this morning, still a bit under the weather but heading outside for a bit of gardening today. My car was in need of a wash before the dust storms....good reason to leave it for a bit :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Morning all, spent 5hrs in the font garden yesterday. Three sacks of cuttings as well as a big dump bag to the tip, and it basically looks like I've just cut the grass  to look at both our front and back gardens look small but they are both heavily landscaped and this / last summer we've really been cutting some things back. Got a box hedge on one side that is now almost level for the first time since we moved in.
Have a tub I tried some potatoes in at the end of last year. Not a great deal of success due to the weather but was thinking of properly planting it this year, thought a few toms at the back, a garlic plant and some parsley might work? Any advise from you green fingered lot?
Throat feeling a bit better today, not sure if it was a cold or even hayfever which I haven't had since I was at school. Still as long as it goes, I don't care either way.how are you PM?

Hi Kerri - last year wasn't great as it was so cold, been much better this year.
I'd definitely go for some more spuds this year. Garlic grows easily and tomatoes always a winner for me! Just go for it!If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -

Hi Cw - I took FD swimming Saturday and then walked her to allotment. We ended up weeding her section and planting some sunflowers!
Went for a family meal out for DD1's 19th yesterday. Brilliant

Thanks - I'll plan to try and put some toms, garlic, parsley or perhaps basil in one tub then - bit like growing my own pasta sauce :rotfl: might stick some spuds in a bag round the side (one of those planters you can get in the £1 shop) Am I right in thinking to grow garlic I just need a sprouty bulb? the bulbs in wilko looked awfully like some that end up at the back of my fridge or am I being simple?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
