    Good Morning Everyone :)

Sorry been a bit AWOL recently lots of reasons getting in the way too boring to mention.

Had a power cut here yesterday for around 4 hours DS2 made me laugh about all the things he couldn't do without power and how did I cope in the olden days before power. You could tell he was bored as was throwing things at people in the end I was praying for power to be switched on :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Started to panic when thought wouldn't be able to get a shower before work so I said how about a good old fashioned bath:rotfl:. How am I going to iron my clothes then he said how did you iron your clothes before irons  said we didn't have that many clothes to worry about ironing, I seriously wonder what era he thinks I was born. Was a bit cross about ringing the power supply as obviously had to use mobiles as got no power to home phone to find out what was happening :mad::mad: then get message this number is chargeable from mobile phones how on earth are you suppossed to contact them by other means if no power which is down to them:mad:

PM I know it was over a week ago you posted but sorry to hear thngs not be so good for you hope that has changed and you feeling a lot happier. ((((HUGS)))).

See we all been struggling with the heat, hard to think a month ago we were moaning about the miserable weather & wish summer would come guess we should be careful what we wish for :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. We had really heavy fog at 4am the other morning which was a bit of a shock especially as hadn't found out where the fog lights were in the new car:eek: it's a bit strange as lights etc come on automatically but then I am never sure are they on right :o . Then we had the torrential rain early yesterday morning but sadly hasn't done anything to cool the temperatures especially at night :(

Good morning AH and everyone else.

I still feel rough, sick and dizzy, its probably due to the weather so hope it does cool down a bit.

We got some thunder and lightning yesterday but not much rain so didn;t really help the gardens much.

When do you go on your hols Jeferey and where are you going.

Hi CW, hope you feel better soon - we go to Devon on Saturday at daft o'clock ;). Going to do a detour to visit another DAIL (she's 90+) in Exeter on the way.
We got plenty of rain yesterday - torrential at times with loads of lightning and thunder.

Glitter gold ones actually, like the pair Kylie wore....and of course her bum to go with them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Think we got some rain last night, tbh so tired that every time I woke up I crashed straight back out again anyway, well until the 6am hot-pant alarm call :D Still hot and sunny here today though a bit more of a breeze. Enjoying the hot weather just a few cooler nights or magically installed (and free) air con would be fab. :)

Latest Amex Shop Small - got a new battery for my car before we set off for Devon. It's lasted over 7 years so not too bad. £5 credit thank you!
