I am shocked and very sad at the news of "me old pal" Mad We all shared some fantastic times on our coupon thread which was your original home.

A truly genuine, funny warm hearted man who I was lucky enough to know for so many years.

You will be truly missed by all on here and elsewhere Mad - thinking of your family.

    Evening all

Sorry been missing for a few weeks, have had so much going on in real life I've not had a great deal of time to get near the PC have been on FB a little but have been missing you guys. Hope I've not missed to much(will have a little read back this evening)

It's getting to that crazy time of year here and with Xmas stuff to sort for family and also being on the PTA I've been give possibly too many jobs to do for that (Santa pressies for kids, secret santas from kids to parents and 130 pressies for the kids from the school) since I'm one of the only parents not working they think I can do everything they don't have time for and wanted to raid my stash :0 for free stuff. I've been busy making gift sets and baking hampers and finding cheap stuff for them but its exhausting

On a good note my cousins little baby arrived safely (over 2 months early though) but is now out of intensive care and off oxygen and already gone from 3lb to 4lb8 so looking good :)

Hope to keep up a little more now hope you are all keeping well Jeff is your extension all finished ? Cw I think you had leaky windows lol and pm had a new little puss wow I've probably missed tonnes

Hey PM - sending you hugs and best wishes.

Busy evening here, gave my KMix a run out, made pizza dough (now in the freezer) - not very good with dough and the only time I made pizza at school it was rubbish. Not sure i kneaded long enough or how long I was supposed to use the dough hook for so fingers crossed its ok. Also made a batch of brownies, which I think I slightly over cooked as I was dividing up the pizza dough, but fingers crossed they will be ok. Actually find brownies are very good frozen then defrosted.

How are you liking the kmix Kerri? My OH keeps nagging he wants to buy me one for Xmas but it just seems like such a lot of money for something I can do by hand although the amount of cakes I have made this year for people is astonishing.

If you love brownies you must try the Mary berry recipe for basic brownies they are absolutely amazing (will find and post recipe if you want it )

Well it looks nice and pretty :rotfl: I do really like it, not something I would normally shell out on but had an opportunity to treat myself guilt free and thought why the heck not for once . It's not something I plan to replace any time soon, if ever. Can't say I make any less mess :rotfl:but it does make the bringing together of ingredients a lot easier and I'm sure it will be good for recipes that need air in them.looking forward to getting to know dough too esp as I don't have a bread maker.

I've never had a mixer before so looking forward to getting to know it better, ooh errr ;) I suspect they are planning a range revamp with all the deals on ATM. If you're gonna use it, go for it if you can afford to, although I can't vouch that cheaper ones may do the job just as well.
