  • Assuming from you description you would have a Rover 45 Saloon which the package you need is

    a 754 Foot Pack
    Using 1045 Fitting Kit
    With bar lengths of 120cm

If you have a different model let me know.

The bars come in different types which are the 761 square bars being the most basic steel based bar. 961 aluminium Wing bar which is 98% quieter than the predecessor and has the optional T-Track function, making sliding / mounting Thule products much easier.

Additionally but not required bar is the 891 SlideBar, this is a bar that extends 60cm to the side of your vehicle making loading and off loading much easier. Recommended for higher vehicles or if you are planning to load 3 or more bike carriers.

    Have you tries freecycle?

They are the sort of things that many people throw out, when they find them in the back of their garage, and forgot to include them with an old car that they sold.

I have several sets of bars collected over the years. But they are getting cheaper now so not worth my hassle to sell them.

I paid £25 for a set of locking aluminium aero bars. Fits estate roof rails so fairly universal.
