Can I avoid paying disconnection charge with Virgin?

We've just bought out first house and virgin, our current supplier is unable to supply us at our new address despite us wanting to stay with them until the end of the contract.
Now I know a contract is a contract however is there any loophole that allows me to avoid paying this because they can't supply my new address? They're charging me £47 to get out of the contract on top of my monthly bill to disconnect!

it was your choise to move into an area that they cant supply too, not thiers, so you cant use that to get out of a contract.
how long do you have left of the contract?
also, when you say on top of your monthly bill, so you mean the bill for 1 month?0 -

Yes. So virgin is going to cost us just under £100 this month, on top of sky who were moving too who has charged us £25 towards the cost of the first bill.
I'm aware its not their fault but thought it was worth a try! Lol
I think we've got only a few months left, certainly less than 6.0 -
It's not a 'disconnection charge', it's an early termination charge, since you are still in minimum term.
No, there is no way out, since it's your choice to move to a non-cable area, and your current contract is for supply at the current address.
You can take the phone and broadband over to Virgin National (not that I'd recommend it), but not the TV service. That should reduce your ETC, but will start you on a new minimum term.
This question is asked several times a week, but the answer does not change. No free lunch, and no free laptop
