So where is my "think positive" stance?
Wish I knew.0 -
I do feel more positive today.
And the end of June is in sight.
We may just have begun to break the habit of spending, certainly the spending diary looks very different this weekend from the beginning of the month.....I even feel like continuing into July....
I'm almost looking forward to posting our payments to one of my 3 balance sheets, working out a new DFD and ensuring the debt comes down faster. Sad really, but when OH returns from abroad, if we haven't blown excessive amounts flying to see each other then we should be debt free and I'm holding onto that.0 -
Yippee, another NS day yesterday.
Supper tonight courtesy of a mystery shop assignment.
I've been ms-ing for 3 months now and am thoroughly enjoying them. I aim to have no queries arising each time, and report within a couple of hours of completion and then it seems almost effortless...
Holding out now for the end of June....but I may be inspired to continue.
I wonder how the others have been doing? Funnily enough I haven't wondered about their challenge at all, it has been so all-consuming concentrating on my own race!

Well I keep managing the NS day. Whereas OH keeps managing to spend £2.70 daily on sandwiches......that's £13.50 a week, over £500 per year..... I think I'm going to have to be firm with him.
Well I would be but he hasn't got home from work yet, as they've all gone dahn the pub....0 -
Hi Olive,
Just wanted to say hello :hello: , and well done for what you've achieved so far!
You have my sympathies with your OH and the £2.70 a day sandwich habit - my DH is exactly the same - convenience over saving...it's just not on, is it?Debt £171000 - Current Debt £168883Between Oct 08 and Apr 09 Pay off £12k = £2117/£12000£2 Savings Pot = £80
