This thread is really good.
It seems to have motivated my OH.:rotfl: The contents of the futility room have been emptied into the garden for a sort out. Some of the things would be better stored in the overcrowded shed, so the shed's contents have joined the stuff on the lawn (patch of grass really). And he is really working hard sorting stuff out.
I've wandered out occasionally to make positive encouraging remarks such as "I wouldn't store the paint in the shed it'll go off" I'm really supposed to be sorting our spreadsheets and writing a script for a competition, but I had to pass on Lennys motivational remarks to help the OH0 -

I think that sounds like a genuine medical problem to me mins. Some people put it on at work on the day it started which got me kinda hooked. Am trying really hard to avoid watching it as I can't stand it!!!
Tonight however is a very very sad night, it's the last night of 24, think I'm gonna cry *sniff sniff* am thinking of getting myself a chinese to cheer me up and say goodbye to jack0 -
I think the reason I like watching big brother is that it makes me feel sort of sane and intelligent! Not sane and intelligent as in you have to be sane and intelligent to watch BB, but sane and intelligent in comparison to those daft enough to enter the house!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. i can see how that works. they all make me want to scream! those twins are totally annoying, the pink haired hippy fell out the ugly tree (ouch!), the asian looking and black girl make me go  saw them talking the other day and one was saying 'I think I'm the queen of my street, I walk like I own it....' what the f***???
I think I just blew mins' be good to people thing! :rotfl:0 -
My nice thing might be to NOT watch BB so that I can't come out with too many offensive comments when people talk about it tomorrow at work!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

This is a fab idea LJ, I'll joint in. I'm going to answer 3 questions tonight from my assignment and also decided to make myself feel better each day I'm going to make an effort with my appearance. No more throwing on whatevers at hand and pulling my hair back in a bobble.
Good luck with your assignment G_R and also, I agree with LJ. Although sometimes I despair of myself (i.e. I spend a lot of hair products and try to buy nice clothes yet sometimes, it just all goes wrong and I still end up looking like a scarecrow!) most of the time I feel better for making the effort.
You'll have to keep us posted on what you do/how it makes you feel! I will be interested anyway
