2 hours of bereavement counselling decluttered, feel like a washed out rag in the heat, think I have earned a nice glass of something cold tonight!

Havn,t had a chance to read yet, but saw FS DD still in hosp - thinking of you all x

Mega hot here today and I was in work from before 7:mad:

Anyhoo chucked some leftover chicken, chorizo, peppers, onions and rice in a pan and keeping my fingers crossed for something edible.

After 7 NSD,s this month, went a bit mad with n&xt website, wanted a new bra and ordered a shedload of stuff, has arrived, keeping bra, sending rest back, unopened - I always pay off my account each month, but I MUST STOP SPENDING.....

Off to sit in the garden with the kittens, whilst dinner decides if its going to be edible or not:cool:

evening chums I'am doing my best to crochet but its very slow going I am so used to knitting,but I will persevere.Book club was great this morning and then I was out for lunch with my friend and that was lovely ,so nice I am still full so no cooking tonight for meI had a £10.00 money off voucher so it only came to another fiver so we split it between us.tomorrow I am off to the U3A coffee morning and I am hoping my decorating will all be done and I can get my house back to normal again The carpet is arriving on Friday and that will be the finishing touch.
Very warm and humid tonight, so I think the fan will be going on for half an hour just to cool things down a bit

P.S. I still haven't been to a food shop this week :):) I am hanging on to my food purse and eating out of the cupboards.Only just over four weeks till we go on holiday:):)

Evening all,
FS, sorry to hear that dd is not so good, positive vibes on way.
Has been a beautiful day here, no cooking as we had yesterdays left overs with salad.
Went for walk with dd4 and dogs, got last of elderflowers still need to harvest some more gooseberries for the freezer, and the rest of the rhubarb.
Hugs to all who are in trouble of any kind.
