I rarely get emails even though I've won lots of books, you have to check in the giveaways tab on the site and check the "giveaways I've entered" and then there is an option to see "books I've won" You might be pleasantly surprised

Oooh, I've won another one. Must be doing something right now

I noticed on the giveaway page for the book I won a woman had won who didn't have any friends, nor any books listed on the site. Thought that was interesting. So people can win if they don't use the site often.

as far as I can make out you may win as a newbie not having reviews posted but once you've been on the site for a while they expect you to review the books you add
