I've previously returned a bra which was sealed etc, with no problem. I was told it's just briefs/boxers/bikinis they won't accept.

Me too, although I did think they allowed return of bikini bottoms as long as they still have that plastic strip in the gusset - but I might be wrong on that.

They also won't let you return thermal underwear leggings.

OP - if you've still got the bra & receipt, maybe try again if the SA on the Returns desk is different.

Apparently so much so that it's on the reciept. When I looked all the reciept says was 'briefs, brief sets and boxers' are not accepted for returns. Although its £4 every penny counts for me with 3 kids so I wondered if anyone has a head office email or address for prim ark

I'd argue that the exceptions on the receipt don't include bras.
The items mentioned are all things you wear on your 'bottom-half' and there is obviously a good reason for Primark to say they won't accept those back.

I appreciate that Mamamoo has posted what their website says about returning goods but I know for a fact that I have returned bras to Primark and had a full refund so I suspect that it might just be this particular store - or they might have changed their policy recently.

I think if you Google 'Primark' you'll find the address of their head office.

    I agree with Techspec

Then the same applies to you as well.
and seeing yourself said you are this:

Which you seem to be confirming very frequently I would say to Techspec ignore your post!

Copying my posts off another thread - my word, you really have a thing for me. I'm now picturing you sat at your PC, copying and pasting my words of wisdom into a special Word document you keep.

    Is this you?

I changed one at Primark last week with no problem. I did check with a SA before I bought so individual stores have different policies. I'd try another branch if I were you rather than contact HO.

I'm shocked at the "only £4" attitude.

I am equally shocked that the lady felt it necessary to tell us that she had three children.

I cannot imagine what the point of that was... unless it was to get us to "think of the children"?

    ;)

Three posts on a forum? Hardly a lot of fuss.

You clearly missed the point where she asked for the company email address to make a formal complaint.

I do have hobbies - and i would rather do them and spend time with my children than complain over a £4 undwear garment i chose to purchase (not even shops mistake). I certainly wouldn't expect others to wear underwear i have returned.

If i bought underwear and was informed it had previously been sold to someone else - i would refuse it. I draw the line at 2nd hand underwear.

You have clearly missed the point that the bra was still in the original sealed packet, so how would the sales assistant reselling it have any idea that it had previously been sold and returned?

I'm not saying bin it. Give it family/friend. Sell on Ebay - you will even make a profit if you say its used. :o

As opposed to your post commenting on a £4 bra that you didn't even buy. Maybe you need a hobby.

    Bra's are my hobby :D

Errm - the sales assistant knows because someone is bringing it back.

I was referring to the idea of a buyer being sold 2nd hand underwear - wether they know it or not - its wrong!

As for item being sealed - i can seal items i buy quite easily. Many are self sealing, a bit of glue, tape - or even a sealer bought off Ebay.

I think you both have missed the point that 3 posters have confirmed that they have all returned bras without any issue to Primark so I think it is a case of the SA on the 'Returns' desk not applying the correct returns policy.

You don't buy bras in the majority of shop or online then?

All shops that sell them, including Primark, allow (encourage even) you to try them on, there's a good chance that every one you buy unless it's in a sealed packet has been worn by someone at some point.

I bought a bra today, I tried 3 on in Primark, 2 in M&S, 3 in Debenhams. All but the one I brought home got put back on display to be sold in the normal way.
