Help! Need to phone the UK from Turkey

We're spending two weeks in Turkey beginning next Monday and had hoped our house sale would have been sorted but it seems likely we'll have to phone and receive phone calls from our estate agents, hopefully not too many! My wife has a PAYG O2 phone and they offer free roaming with 69p/49p for making/receiving calls in Turkey. Is there a cheaper way of doing it, she really don't really want a contract phone.

Check out the Kasbah when you get there they'll probably flog you a cheap local SIM card

I was in Turkey 10 days ago. Got a Turkcell SIM from a local phone shop for 15 Turkish Lira (approx £6). Then got 100 units top up for another 15 Turkish Lira (approx £6). Called UK lots and it was cheap. Also got incoming calls for free (as not roaming)

Buy a local phonecard and call from a callbox.

Rates are quite good.
