Phone freeze-help
We have been given a phone by a friend but I can't get my wife's SIM card to work on it. It said phone locked. I then tried to type in the code to get the phones code and now it is saying phone freeze. I can't do anything with it now. I took out the sim, keyed in the code and got the phones code but that's it. There are guys in our local town who offer phone services in a market stall but not sure if they rip you off.
It's a Samsung GTS7330
Thanks.

I tried to type the #*06# code to bring up the phones code. It mustn't have read it right which put it into freeze mode. I did this again successfully with the SIM card removed. Put SIM card in but still frozen. So I have now got the phones code but can't get it out of freeze mode.0

Sounds like it is blocked to me by phone company
If you type *#06# it brings up the IME: number that's not a code.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.

What's happened is the OPs phone (EDIT[STRIKE]probably[/STRIKE] its a Samsung) was sim locked, they have put the wrong network unlock code in after inserting a sim from another network.
If you type the wrong network unlock code in a number of times it will go to "phone freeze" and now requires a complete reset.
OP, take your phone to an unlocker shop, trying to unlock using the free codes found on line is the usual cause of the phone freeze problem, they should be able to sort it (for a fee).====0 -
