    What a woman!

    What a gob on her!!

I wonder who took her children to school whilst she was in the TV studio airing her prejudices? A nanny? Mother's helper? Au pair? Bet she doesn't do many school runs!

And it is her children who have drawn the short straw in the lottery of life ....the Chardonnays, Chelzeas and Tylers and TJs in this world can change their names when they grow up - I remember Zowie Bowie - but this woman's poor children cannot change their mother ....... as someone else said - once a slapper, always a slapper!

I cant take that woman seriously. She openly admits to judging children by their names, and instantly deciding solely based on that whether they are suitable to associate with her own children! Her weird logic allows her to reason that a name is a shortcut to being able to work out which class a child comes from, and enables people to make all manner of assumptions about them. Her opinions really showed her up to be a totally ignorant bigot who really shouldn't be given any air time.

I had to laugh when she was stating how she dislikes children who are named after footballers, celebs, seasons of the year or geographical locations. Good old Philip Schofield took great delight in saying 'yes but your daughter is called India'. Her intelligent come back to that one was to say it was not related to a geographical location just a beautiful name! :rotfl:Unless a whole sub-continent has recently been wiped off the face of the earth I think she will find it is. The woman is barking mad.

My favourite bit was when she said she dislikes it when people give their children names that mean beautiful and Holly replied with 'I named my daughter Belle.' The look on Katie Hopkins face was priceless :rotfl:

They could be a little bit uncomfortable for the foreseeable considering the views she was airing. I feel very sorry for her children. All that she will have achieved by making such ill thought out sweeping statements, is to make herself look like a laughing stock, and to cause her children to end up isolated from their peers. What kind of mother does that!
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

    I'm surprised she's a mother tbh.

Just a quick google seems to show she can't be even bothered looking after her children, never mind cavorting in fields with married men whilst apparently thinking herself the epitome of class. I feel truly sorry for her children :(

Did she not specify ugly children at one point in that bit so the other lady asked if she allowed her children to play with ugly children lol.

I'd love to know if my childrens names would be 'good enough' for her littlies to play with.. especially my boys heehee.

I must admit to being somewhat horrified when out for dinner one time and there was a 'classy sort' sat at the next table with Mercedes, Porsche, Sierra and.... Ferrari... Makes you wonder why poor Sierra got such a lowly name :p .. or if that was where they were conceived.. The parents were judged more on their own inappropriate behaviour than their well behaved children.. it was just a bit tragic.. but they could at least change their names. One of the girls I was at school with had a daughter whose name sounded like a disease.. the daughter married at 18 lol.

I think names are one of the gifts you give your child and often first impressions are made on a name.. A teacher gets a register before they see the child.. reading job applications you get the name first.. it is a bit mean to give them made up or silly names (thinking of the numerous 'DJ' 'Ceejay' etc types) Apologies to those whose children have such names.. you probably wouldn't like my choices either ;)

And I really hate when you get a whole family with the same first initial!

I'm actually a bit disappointed none of mine are ginger.. My brother is and several cousins and my nanna was one of 7 all with red hair... I want one!

I think everyone has names they associate with a type of child.. teachers must find it impossible to name a child lol I do think children are prejudged based on their name but that doesn't mean you should act on that prejudice.. I wonder what people would think of the names my lot have!

I'd love to have a child with red hair - hoped DS would, but he's fair-haired, like me. OH is dark, but his mother and brother are flaming red, so our children could pretty much have had any colour hair.

My mother was a teacher - and didn't want to call any of her children after the little [STRIKE]sods [/STRIKE]angels she'd taught.

There are no red-headed people on either side of my family but one of my sisters has red hair. Blimey! She must be the milk-man's.

It's a recessive gene, so you can have several generations of a family carrying the gene, and it doesn't show up.

My Dad's dark red, but all 4 of his children are fair-haired, like our mother. But we must all carry red haired genes, too, as they are recessive.

I really hope not. I saw the pics of her kids in the Daily Hate article and her two daughters seemed a bit, ahem, "unphotogenic". Poor lambs.
