Just been looking on the Tesco Greener Living page
    http://www.tesco.com/greenerliving/what_we_are_doing/green_clubcard_points/default.page
and found the info on cartridges at the bootom of the page, there's also a link which gives a list of which ones they'll accept
    http://www.tesco.com/greenerliving/what_we_are_doing/recycling_waste/printer_table.page?
which has pleased me because both my hp ones are listed an I'm really tired of waiting for hp to send the return envelopes I requested waaayyyyy back in january.... so that's 400 points hanging from the kitchen noticeboard already:j(Just need to remember to pick up the envelopes when I next go shopping)

Inkjet Cartridge Recycling Terms & Conditions

Please note From 1st March 2008 there will be a 30 cartridge limit per household, per year. To enable us to give either 100 Green Clubcard Points to you or £1 to Marie Curie Cancer Care for every recyclable cartridge received, you need to select one of the options on the tear-off slip. If you do not have a Clubcard, Tesco will automatically donate to charity. Please do not send any inkjet cartridges other than those specified. Please do not send laser cartridges. Please ensure all details are accurately recorded on the tear-off strip on the envelope and enclosed. Tesco will donate to charity if no customer details are recorded. Tesco takes no responsibility for cartridges damaged or lost in the post. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt.

If it turns out that you have to put one cartridge in one envelope then I'm going to put all the envelopes together inside a bigger envelope and send them in one go with signed for delivery.... I think that'll work but I'll have to double check.

  • Hey everyone,

Just a query on Tesco inkjet recycling! I notice that you can trade 30 cartridges in per year. I traded in 30 in Sept '08 but is anyone clear on when the year starts??? Is it a year since your last trade or start of calendar year???

    Does anyone know?? Help appreciated!!

I don't know the answer, but we do have an existing thread on this subject, so I'll merge your question so that you can browse there ;)

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
