Morning everyone and what a beautiful morning it is!:j

Forever Saving, sorry to hear about your DD, hope everything turns out ok for her.

Well, I didn't get my planned lie-in as my lovely grandaughter was up with the larks this morning, never mind she's drawn me a lovely picture for the gallery (fridge door lol) The rest of my DD's are starting to emerge looking for breakfast but my hubby is still in bed.

We've got nothing much on today till this afternoon when we've been invited to a BBQ at a neighbours for her 50th. _party_ I'm going to duck out of it as I'm not very sociable at the moment  but OH and kids are looking forward to it. I'll make some new potato salad for them to take and I'll enjoy a peaceful afternoon to myself.

Hope everyone can enjoy the sun this weekend, make sure you put your suncream on (nag, nag) Cheers m'dears x

Busy bee - been gardening already and have some bread to make. I want to have a tidy up and then get some letters written. I would do that outside in the garden but I think my handwriting would be even more untidy if a creepy crawly jumped on me as I was writing!

I still have apples on my trees! I was so sure that they would all fall off. I need to get some straw to put under my strawberries though.

Blues skies and sunshine here!

Have been thinking a lot about how much I have and how I don't appreciate it - decided to pay it forward in a small way with Kiva. I like the idea of contributing towards helping someone get themselves out of poverty.

Have a fab day everyone! :)

Morning :hello:

forever saving thinking of you xxx

My Morrison's plan didn't work – they're not doing the vouchers this month :rotfl: Apparently there are vouchers in the Sun instead. My favourite till lady (I always look along the tills to see if she's working and go to her) told me all about it, said she read it on a money website and always listens to Martin Lewis :D I think I'll still insist on going round the shop with two trollies though, mr tru bought a lot less and the shopping was cheaper, lol.

Thanks for the comments about my bag :D It's really easy, just squares sewn together.

The guttering is going up as I type. Even though everything is being done outside, I feel like I can't get on with things in the house. So I'm just flitting about, trying to keep busy but getting nothing done :D

FS I hope that they find out what is wrong with your DD (((((Hugs))))) to all of you.

Glorious here again so I have been on a washing hunt (I know it is an addiction :rotfl:) I like to make use of the good weather, mind you I was fuming at 2 pm yesterday when a neighbour lit a barbecue and I had all the bedding out :mad::mad: he didn't have the decency to tell anyone, blurdy ignorant !!!!!!

DH is in the garden building me another raised bed, my veggies are going mental all of a sudden :D

Going to a local fete this afternoon, so I am looking forward to that.

Watched Andy last night and was squirming when he lost the first set, he made a brilliant come back though.
When they closed the roof, he was not happy and I think that anger pushed him forward. He made me smile when he said that he went for a shower and wotsisname was just making phone calls :rotfl:
Right off to put some washing on the line and make DH a cold drink
Enjoy your weekend everyone, whatever you have planned.

Morning all
Hugs to FS & family, also to Molly, Hilly & LW.
Halight, that's right, I do look like a 10 year old, lol with an extra 0 added.
I got up at 6 went to get cash from the hole in the wall, DS2 let me know late on that he's getting my car sorted, £67, so not too bad. Came home & DD2 rang at 7:30 to say DGD1 was up & dressed, ready to be collected, so went to get her, on the way home DS phoned to ask where I was as he'd arrived to collect my car, DGD1 answered the phone said 'Nana is with me and we won't be long'. DS2 took my car & dropped hubby at work on his way. DGD2 helped me unload the DW & hang the washing on the line, we've picked strawberries, lettuce & cucumber, then we made rows of paper dolls & coloured them in. We've counted the bees in the garden, done lots of jigsaws (CS £1.50 for 4 Hello Kitty) & talked lots, well, she talks I listen!. DD phoned and has now collected her & left me with 3 carrier bags of guinea pig poo for my compost. I need to get the rest of my housework done as DGS1 is coming over later & will stay the night if he wants. Hubby will be home around 1ish & will do a BBQ. Tomorrow DGD2 is visiting, not sure how long for, but I'm all geared up with toilet step and inner seat to stop her falling in!
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Morning,

DH & DS2 working on his house this morning knocking out a chimney breast thats very solid-I sense frayed tempers in this heat ;) Due to pick up DGD at 1 so hopefully DS1 will take me.

We have been asked to a BBq too but I dont think we're going to go with DGD staying over.Just walked past our little park on the way to the shop and a little girl shouted DGD name,we tend to see her and her Mum on there on Saturdays.I had to explain that she hasnt come to our house yet. She's older than DGD,ready for starting school next time and loves' looking after' her.Her Mum is 39 wks pregnant, and was looking a bit hot poor thing.

We lit the chimenea last night and sat out till 11.15,didnt realise it had got so late-just a pleasure to be sat out in the garden.

Right better get ready,

Forever Saving-hope your DD gets well very soon, poor thing-hugs

Afternoon all

FS hope you daughter feels better soon.

Hester LOL!

Bitsey enjoy the bbq.

This morning OH and I had a nice chat with DD on Skype. She is coming homme soon for a month and I am soo excited. I miss mother and daughter shopping.

After that OH and I have had a lazy morning sitting in the garden. I have the second load of washing in the machine and OH is stacking the dishwasher from lunch.

No decorating the spare room today as OH has decided that the smell off paint will be intrusive when we have our friends round for drinks tonight. :rotfl:

Second half of lentil lasagne tonight so I will nuke in the microwave so no real cooking. Made a bread pud too yesterday as I had the oven on so OH and DS are well supplied.

Well enjoy the sun everybody-long may it continue.
