I can't find a forum for this so this one seems the most appropriate...

Lovefilm are cancelling their pay as you go service - does anyone know any alternatives?

Edit - I notice Cinema Paradiso have one option where credits roll over to the next month if they're not used, so I may transfer to them if no other pay as you go options exist.

Lovefilm's reason if anyone is interested: to concentrate on their "core strength of providing world-class monthly subscription services that stream movies & TV series online and rent DVDs & Blu-rays by post" - which is a load of rubbish! It's to make more money as they know there are people who won't watch their allocation every month. They no longer offer 'payment holidays' either.
The Cakes - new release now on Spotify!

I would say Blockbuster in store or a local video shop, online rental companies offer bundles mostly or in Netflix's case streaming. Also Blockbuster online rental still has payment holidays and ive found there service to be much better than lovefilm.
