Anyone purchased a car from Paul Whatley Cars - Stourbridge
Hi,
I would really appreciate some help with buying a new car!
I am currently looking for a new car and am having to travel to find what I might want! Has anyone ever brought from this garage or perhaps could give me an idea of the reputation if you live locally?
Website - http://www.paulwhatleycars.co.uk
Can anyone recommend somewhere locally to get the car looked at prior to me making a purchase? I see the AA do a check but was wondering if another garage locally could have a quick look at a car?
Any help would be appreciated!

Go and look at the car yourself. Have a test drive. If your happy then pay for an AA or RAC inspection.
Make sure any deposit states the deposit is refundable subject to the inspection.

Why would you buy a car with an engine that sounded like a bag of nails?
£5600 in repairs? Should have been a new car after that.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I suspect you got ripped off by the repairing garage as well as the dealer :ouch:
1 post and decides to ressurect an old thread.
Maybe a competitor - or am I being too suspicious?
Why would you pay more than the value of a car for repairs?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Maybe not a competitor but someone with a grump. Maybe a sale went wrong but they distorted the truth?
Why buy a car with an engine that sounded rough? Why spend so much on repairs? Maybe they included tax, MOT, insurance, and servicing over the time they kept the car?
One of those posts you have to take with a pinch of salt.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
AVOID THIS DEALER! Need I say more?! Would be interesting to discuss this further with danjel8.0

As I clicked on the website and the first car highlighted was a death blue Corsa, I'm guessing he's an auction sweeper with an interest in poker.0

To be fair most of the cars do look massively rubbish.0

I do not know what the garage is like because I have not had dealings with them. If they are a problem trader I can however see why people would be taken in by their website. The outside of their premises looks to be on a well kept industrial estate. The one thing that concerns me is the fact I have seen that generic website set up before. It looks almost identical to another traders website I have seen before, but at this present moment in time I can not recall their name.0
