Tell the seller it hasn't arrived, then you'll know how real the label is. :D

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A JOKE AND NOT ADVICE TO DEFRAUD! Thank you, carry on.

Have you shredded the label to see if it does indeed have a coil in it?

Yes, I have peeled it off and had a look - no wires etc, just a normal cheapo label.

Agree with Custardy - just a 'scare' tactic to give the appearance that it's been sent tracked.

    Quite a good idea really..........

Been using something similar like his for a couple of years now.

It has cut my INR by 99% i.e. now only get 1/100th of the INR claims that I used to get using regular post.
I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.
  • Where would one find a label like this.... I've had 1 too many "not recieved" lately so anything that may help can't be a bad thing?

Well clumsy I did a quick google image search for 'fake tracking label uk' to try to find you one and the first image is from this thread! You can buy avery compatible labels from just about anywhere, ebay I'd suggest, then print some yourself.

In fact, if anyone's interested I'll have a quick go at knocking something up for people to use. I too think it's a quality idea. :)
  • I had a quick look on ebay but just found blank postage labels. I'm surprised nobody has thought if this idea before

Found these. Wonder if they would work with normal postage paid. Meaning would they affect the item arriving or would Royal Mail see its normal post and ignore the label.

would you want to use the same label as everyone else?
The point is its unique and looks official
its not new and people have been using various versions for years

Wasn't sure if it would work but of course now you've said that I won't be using them. Wish there was some way to stop false not recieved claims. Well by using special delivery but no one would want to pay that delivery charge
