Trying to hit a conditional spend? Or because you have bonus/double point coupons? Or T is only option to travel to?
Lets agree to disagree shall we?
I don't think we are disagreeing. All the factors you've mentioned are also part of the consideration. It may be best to lose a 'few pence' if you are getting pounds off elsewhere. For me though, it doesn't make sense, as my T is farther away from me, so I certainly wouldn't travel there in order to get a price match.
I'd look to other alternatives, that the MOC was valid against and which were cheaper in A, first than go for already pricematched items as fillers unless I really had to. I also don't like vouchers where you have to spend a minimum amount (i.e. the cond spend) in order to make a 'saving'.
You 'save' by buying £5 of items that you need, rather than buying £40 of items just to get a fiver off. Even if it's £35, it's then still £30 more than you needed to spend!:):)
CoT + Aau1 - you often play the MOCs better than I do:T. We're all savvy in our own ways.:)0 -
From my regular weekly shop, not quite right I think, but getting there I hope.

Savvy you are brilliant!!
I'm already halfway through my list and have added quite a few fillers already too :T
You advice is a god send, you really are one of the most helpful people I have met on here :T
Now go to bed!
Lol:rotfl:- I was almost going to tell the woman this afternoon in the till in front of me (who'd just finished paying for her shopping) to check the APG if she hadn't have already walked away. She'd bought some Shredded Wheat - which I think is on offer somewhere else - together with 'the right milk' (+right number) - although she may only just have hit the 8 items, if indeed she got enough (it seemed like she may just have bought enough)... although the butter may have ruined it as that is probably 95p more elsewhere.
....I'll just go and see if I've got her receipt now..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
(Just back from quick msm.co.uk check.) Indeed...she should have put her Shredded Wheat 30 on my shopping instead - SWheat 30 is £1.59 at Waities until 13/8.0
