Do I ever!!! I have had a week of much pedanticness :p:rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Do you ever... what? Or is that "Do I ever!!!" meaning the opposite of what it says - namely not denying that you don't but confirming that you do?

:think: Difficult for this person (me!) to understand. Would make most people's heads sore, but mine? No!:D

I've now concluded probably best way of proceeding is forget about going into it too deeply and just move swiftly on.

As, I think, you said at the outset, the pedantry on here is why this thread works well. Such as my pedantic (or, instead, correct) removal of the Original and Light but keeping of the Buttery. It's probably unlikely to go far wrong with me.:)

You just lose with T, I feel.
Although... "...when you shop at Tesco, you won't lose out on big brands, fresh food or own label. We call it the Tesco Price Promise."*

Another broken promise at the moment. I'd consider taking this to the Advertising Standards Authority - not that you'd get anything at all other than 'bad' publicity for T - all publicity good publicity?? So you've 'lost out' on a 'big brand'?:naughty:

Meanwhile, it was both fresh food and own label that I feel I lost out on - their Eday Value Parsnips (750g) - wouldn't accept that there were SP Parsnips (750g) on a.com at 10p lower. First said I'd bought loose and not bagged, when in fact both were bagged. Then claimed not all items are in T PP (I pointed out wasn't T the one to complain about the APG supposedly excluding fresh fruit, when in fact it was and is included? Or rather T to make an inadvertent inaccurate claim in its advertising a few years back to that effect. Then they said I've saved as they were more expensive at Sains. (to which T PP did compare) - totally irrelevant as my PP was vs A.) That was the last time I shopped at T.

Wonder what their reason/defence/excuse is this time?
