Hi Claire can you share with me how you tether your phones Internet with your iPad please. I'm wondering if I will be able to use my iPad on the train eg where there s never a signal.:)
If its a Virgin train then stand in the 1st class outside corridor outside by the loo - the loo will stink but you might just get to log on - try walking through 1st first class to log on via your settings first:T
I dont know if this works but my OH says it does.
Its annoying when you have your ipad though and no wi fi - everyone around you has their ipad going ping and yours has the dimensions of a brick :rotfl:
Or just take a book“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Ok aau1, you are a Scottish accountant are you not?? With this in mind, can you explain the following as I am a tad confused..
If you can buy 2 x Wall's Mini Twister Ice Lollies and have them compare £3 v £2 and get a £1.20 apg, why would you chuck in a Smarties option for a £1.10 apg (unless you actually wanted Smarties of course..;))0 -

From a receipt dated 13th, another item for the
sada v morrisons list (unless the offer finished today?)
1x
NESTLE AERO CHOC MOUSSE 4PK 236G
£1.29 £1.28 £1.29 £0.64
also everyday value sparkling water
24p in tosco, 18p in Morrisons, 17p sada
Yeah we know:D - Aero Mousses have been 50p in A a few months back (as Patty will well know:rotfl:). I wrote down the Aero Mousse but it didn't make it into the list for this reason. Eday Value Sparkling - well, S/P Sparkling, is Avs S. Watch them all increase the prices now though! Unless T's planning a big "Price Drop" promo. on them. Back to the 17p it was for months before.
On that - or something a bit similar - didn't we have the 1p price reduction on fuel recently? My S had already actually increased its price by one penny a litre a few days before. It then went back to the price it had been, once A announced a maximum price (the price already being charged before then for me). In fact I've got a number of S's - and the one that is farthest away from A and T is 1p a litre more expensive. Wasn't having that, when the same fuel is available from the other S - people may be thinking of going to A after all the above shenigans - effectively charging people more for a few days then calling it a price drop - but S draws people in with 'double points on fuel' spits.
In effect it means each litre is a penny off (normally 1 point per litre, 2 points is one penny). In other words, just the same price as it was before all the S's put their price back up by 1p/L in the last week. So no point!
I'd rather have the 1p:rotfl:cheaper fuel now, than pay the extra cost and then have it back - eventually, once I've reached 500 points, in effect as an interest free loan from me to the supermarkets, which waits months to be paid off (especially at T, where I've always had their 'extra points' not being credited at the end of the CC period as they said they would - then ringing them and waiting another 3 months... till, one occasion, they failed to appear again. So a six-month:eek: interest free loan from me to them. Really, it's disgraceful how some companies treat people. If it was you or I withholding payment, there would soon be authorities called in or action taken to retrieve it immediately. They'd probably just take it straight from my debit card, without even asking before doing so. Appalling:(.)
Ohh - I am having a bit of a rant aren't I?:rotfl::rotfl: It's how it works - increase the actual price, then 'give' people a discount, making them think it's worth getting. (It's more expensive than before, just allows them to delay payment by putting it on 'loyalty' cards.) Thanks for setting it off mhoc - don't know how that was managed from some Aero Mousses:D!0 -
