:hello:I've been preparing my own shops this afternoon - and, every time an item turns out to be on a multi. in A, I'm going onto a.com:rotfl::rotfl:.

Got trouted this afternoon in the 'less trouty' store. Wish I'd gone mad on the non-tomato Campbell's soups last time, as now unable to get them today. Well, took the coupon away and, after an age, waiting for me to run out of time for the other two shops I still had to come, came back and said they couldn't accept the Campbell's coupons. I thought they were going to say because they're on m'buy so you're not getting them at full price. Reason they gave was because they are not 'safe coupons' and therefore 'they couldn't get the money back'. Said contact the manufacturer and tell them you couldn't redeem them because the store refused. (I thought, well, I wouldn't need to do that if you didn't create the refusal problem yourself, by refusing.)

Whole point is these coupons aren't limited to one use - you can have as many as you like - as the coupon says 'one against each item purchased'. Safe coupons would limit use to one use, unless I'm sorely mistaken, and as these don't, that's why they're not 'safe coupons'! Troutier store had no problem accepting multiples of the same coupons last time - and also took the Lizzy Shaw coupon without any question which isn't a 'safe coupon'. So, the whole shop with the Campbell's went back to the shelf. Then - because less trouty store (the one that's now more trouty) has a paid-for car park (refund if you spend £etc....), I couldn't go and lose that so had to go and do my T shopping. No Bird's Eye 10 Cod Fish Fingers present.:( I found the non-cod Bird's Eye 'fish' fingers 10 pack, and also found every size of Bird's Eye Cod fish fingers, except for the 10 pack:mad:.

I did manage the Herby Potatoes though. Aau1 told us not working yesterday, and gave us a bar code ending. I'm wondering whether this was a test to see if I came in and said it is the wrong code. (I'd been thinking that the moment I saw his post, but just let it be as it didn't raise itself that much.) I think 4528(?) is the wrong code - the right one is 4511. Both from memory folks:rotfl::D.

It's looks like an early doors shop tomorrow possibly to do the Campbell's at the troutier store (which isn't). Wish I'd gone there instead. I managed to do my T and my Sains shopping though. And don't mention anything about the flumps;).

I think it was originally on 10ways

    You mean the one that:
    • 10 ways got threatened with legal action over,
    • got pulled from all coupon sites and advised not to use
    • WW said they would not honour because it was a photocopy of a goodwill MOC sent to someone in the post?

That one, or is there another floating about?

Found a trigger on the Nutri-Grains I think. The Nutri-Grain Chocolate. Not on msm yet.

Did two sep. shops, one vs T and one vs S, each with a 6 pack chocolate and an appropriate other Nutri Grain (some on offer at T and some at S). Cutting it fine though on the T shop - offers on the iceberg and cucumber according to msm run till today:eek:, but still been showing that pricing all day (and no 'out of stock' symbol).

... and :mad: I now find out MSM has cost me money again:mad::( - I also bought the Curly Kale vs T (showing as on at £1 at T until today:eek:, again all day and still the same now). Sains clearly showing N/A. Turns out my local Sains. doesn't stock the Sains. Kale. I only now discover that, logged out:mad:, it has Sains on 2 for £1.50. Until 23/7. So there was no need to rush for it, I could have done with getting it later as already got some veg. to run out, and I like comparing against items in other stores that aren't stocked in the ones near me. That's what it's all there for - so that I can pick it up from the competitor;). Arghh... done me out of that (even if Sains is 200g but T's is 206g as unit price is still better and would have gone with two bags later in the week, to then last).:mad::mad: Ruddy msm:rotfl::rotfl:.

Results (as usual:() about 6.30pm and 7pm.

[Edit - oh I now see a lot of mad and frown symbols on this post, suggesting I'm being more grumpy than I actually am. With the trigger on the Nutri-grains (we hope!), I should be :j:j, especially as some of the comparing ones are £2.48:T and any 2 for £3.]

I think all the other prizes were a cabbage too. unless you'd saved somebodys life/discovered a cure for something dreadful/found a new whole number between one and ten, in which case they'd be happy to give you a crackerjack pencil!:D

:D Are we a similar age ? I think everyone got a crackerjack pencil and losers got a rather large cabbage as well. Some won lots of things I can remember someone maybe Lesley Crowther putting things in a big brown bag for them. It was a couple of years ago though :D

Nope, I know there are 2 so I always check. I got the same one as I always got

At least it was just a blip that I experienced and not a complete fix to the whole thing
