Hi everyone. I'm new here, but been lurking for a couple of weeks.
I was lucky and managed to get some of the 1p crackers about 2 weeks ago. Since then they have restocked and the crackers have the right barcode but scan at 2.19. Lots of people are posting that they are still 1p. Not for me :-(

Hi, welcome to the nuthouse :D

Ah we've had the full stropathon. The grounding has been extended, the iPod confiscation extended and she's hanging on to her phone by the skin of her teeth. Likewise computer and telly time.

I just said to my OH. What are we going to do with her. He said 'it'll be fine. Rewind the clock 30 years, look in the mirror. You turned out ok didn't you':o

    Pmsl. :rotfl:
I can honestly hand on heart say that I was an excellently behaved teenager.
It all went a bit mental when I hit my twenties. I was a bit of a late bloomer :D

Depending of seriousness of crime (apart from texting her mother like that:eek:)
Option of replacing phone with cheap and embarassing handset that has no internet, removal of make up. Telly a great one to remove as isolation sets in and would have to actually think about what she has done.

I was always very lucky with my dd, didn't really do my head in until she reached her 20's and was too late to play hardball.

Of course you could send her to the nerf household for the entire summer holidays to act as an unpaid aupair:rotfl:

Sure situation will sort itself out and madam will realise what great parents she has.
    V x

What a superb idea! :D :rotfl::rotfl: I bet all 3 nerfs put together are more grown up than she's been acting lately :o

Ah...yeah..also got a womble (one solitary one again I'm afraid:( as the other turned out they just bought 2 puddings on "any 2 for £2" and nothing else - instead of buying one pudding at £1.50 that's £1.00 elsewhere and therefore 90p (and only having to buy one:money:).

Not liking the womble initially - although they had some beer, they also had three of the same yorkshire pudding, which cut the number of items down and I thought it might leave it with 7:(. They may, just about, have bought 8 - but they've cut it very finely:eek: and not whilst doing so in the way that I do!

I think it will be lucky if it gives 2p. They should have bought 2 boxes of the Carlsberg, as that's 2 for £15 elsewhere but individual prices of £9.00. On their £7.60 Carlsberg:(. I thought of whether to enter now or delay to a new Morries update but, whether it was bought last week or this week, the Carlsberg is still £10 for one pack in M:(:(. So it's hopeless there, the Yorkshires are 3 for £1 M and the £2.40 sausages might, if am I lucky, and I'm probably not, compare to cheaper in M but all lose by the Carlsberg! So my only hope seems vs Sains, who don't stock that size of Carlsberg. Then the loose potatoes are £1.75/kg in S, rather than T's £1.50/kg (same price as A). So if it gives 24p (10% cheaper) on the sausages as A & S are same price on those, it'll lose quite some of that on the potatoes comp. Wish me luck...:rotfl::(:(:(:(

Can't wait until I can tell the next class I will have that I am going to be there teacher next year. I have had them before but only for a few weeks, probably won't be a popular thing with all of them but there are a few who will be happy as they have been worried about having someone they don't know.

You are right but I have to choose. east for A and west for T.
Think aau is doing an A shop but might be wrong.

Plus I hate doing 1p items in a quiet store. Much prefer the anonymity of a busy daytime shop:)
