I just said to my OH. What are we going to do with her. He said 'it'll be fine. Rewind the clock 30 years, look in the mirror. You turned out ok didn't you':o
Opening words when I got home from school today to DD were 'don't even think about stropping or being rude tonight, I have had full play production this morning and been out doing sports all afternoon. You play up and you'l cop it.'
Seems to have worked so far.:p0 -

Feeling a lot better today was the shock hearing on Saturday from mum that Aunty was poorly Friday then Aunties DD ringing while at mums that Aunty had emergency ambulance late Friday night then 2pm Sunday getting phone call Aunty had died.
Everything happened so quick couldn't take it in yesterday she had died.

He might have a point though because I was grounded quite often
and he reminded of a time I had no pocket money for 3 months, but none of us can remember what that was for :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I was cheeky to my mum and a real sulker, my mum was a doormat bless her, never grounded me or ever really told me off. The worry of my dad kept me in line and by my teens I knew mum had a hard life with him so I pretty much behaved myself.0 -

Well my mum didn't stand for much nonsense. I suppose she was quite strict. We clashed quite alot.
I can't even remember my Dad raising his voice to me, ever!0 -

The good thing is they have water as well which is also effortlessly cheap. I went there this morning and got a 6 pack of Evian and drank a lot of it, so woohoo to me.
Are the Special K cracker crisps really as good as they make them sound? Like only a few calories compared to normal crisps or is it all bullish?
I've not tried them, but I'm going for bullish. You can get proper crisps with less cals anyway, like French fries, quavers, skips etc,I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
