My husband has received a parking charge notice for the range store in Halifax for parking for 27 minutes at 8.17 - 8.45 am! There is normally no charge. For parking here when the store is one so he is confused as to why the charge! Does he have to pay?0

I have just started the ball rolling on the Range Facebook page.
Needs a new thread about it and a link with a 'call to arms' to get posters on facebook to add their complaints.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi there
Just received same notice for same The Range car park in Bolton.
I felt tyre flat at lights so turned in knowing that Range was there for me to change.
15 minutes I was there after 8pm.. Needless to say, I didn't expect this parking charge from Parking Eye..
Robbery.
Not sure what rights I have here, but have rang to speak to store manager who is not in today.. Will see what happens tomorrow.
Thanks

Not sure what rights you have to sidestep a scam, a protection racket?!

You challenge it:

Every thread tells you about this scam and what to do:

I see now that you have started your own thread. But please read up on it all and complain, challenge, and get a POPLA code. But, please read up on POPLA appeal wording too, on any threads, it's like Groundhog Day on this forum and the same old stuff is repeated endlessly on a loop on every thread and we can't spoon-feed every step of the way when all questions are already answered if people simply read other current threads on page one/two.
NO replies here please as this is Discobadger's thread and I assume he/she will be updating us soon as to what happened when they challenged their fake PCN and what they plan to say in their own POPLA appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
