Jury duty.

The odd thing is, I have a friend who is forever called for jury duty, and he claims they pick him from the electoral roll. I have been registered to vote in the same borough of London (but different addresses) most of my adult life, and never got picked. You get screened out for having criminal records etc., but I don't have any that I know of.

I thought it was against the law not to be on the electoral register?

Do we need to be listed on the edited register for the companies to check for credit? Or do they have access to the normal one?
