Free Sky wireless on demand box

If you are a Sky customer you can claim a free wireless connector giving you access to hours of great on demand tv. (Or so the letter claims!) Go to sky.com/thankyou and click 'claim' you will then have to login (username and password) then you should see a congratulations message, all done......please note this only seems to work on laptops and PCs, I spent over an hour and two calls to CS to find out it doesn't work on my iPhone or my kindle!

Thanks for this, didn't work for me though.
I got a message saying it only applies if I got a letter offering me a free wireless connector (I didn't) and I've never connected to On Demand before (I have, via ethernet) and I have a compatible HD+ box.0 -
I thought it was only free if you had or took out Sky Movies. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I do not have Sky movies, just the basic deal with broadband, and it worked for me, so it's worth a try!0

In the terms...
' You can claim a free wireless On Demand connector only if you meet all of the following conditions: 1. You recently received a letter from us about; 2. You’ve never connected to On Demand and 3. You have a compatible Sky+HD box.'0 -
I've got one of these letters but I've not claimed it yet.
Can anyone tell me the benefit of having this box as opposed to just connecting my router to my sky box?0 -
None whatsoever, a wired connection is always more reliable. A friend may need one if the router and Sky box are not near each other. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
