I've recently opened one of these accounts. I have had several letters off them with various bits of information and a debit card and cheque book and card reader. However, I haven't had my customer number or debit card PIN. I don't seem to be able to log in without at least one of these numbers. I couldn't find anything on their website telling me what to do and there's no phone number other than one with automated options that doesn't let you get through to a human being.

I emailed them and got a message back directing me to the help pages on their website, despite the fact that the answer to my question doesn't appear to be there, hence me emailing them in the first place. To add insult to injury, there's a link at the bottom of the email where it asks you to add feedback. The link is 'broken' :(

    Any ideas anyone?

How did you get your customer number? Did it arrive in a letter on its own? I've looked through all the correspondence I've had from them and can't seem to find mine.

i set the account up last weekend. i got my debit card about 2 days ago. i called them to ask for my customar number so i could login. i have only had one letter from them and thats with the debit card.

call them on 0800 30 20 10 and choose the current account option then you will get to a real person after a min or two.

Ring them on their customer operations number 01793 712865. They deal with complaints so should be able to put you through to the right department.
You would have set up the three items of memorable data when you first registered. You can also log in using your card reader and debit card.
Ring the above number and let us all know how you got on.

First time you log in to your account online, you will need your debit card, card reader and pin. After that you can use the memorable data you set up previously.

You would have got your customer number with your welcome to our internet banking service letter from them. If you haven't received that letter ring one of the numbers given above.

I just tried to login and after putting in my debit card details to register it comes up with a message saying you have opened the account within the last 7 days so you cannot setup you online details yet as this could invalidate the information being processed. Maybe I am trying to jump ahead too much?

I wouldn't accept that you should be able to log in as soon as your account is set up and you have registered online. I would give them a ring and ask them to check what is the problem.
