Mine is roughly 9-5 but I am on a 0.6 contract so only three days a week. As full time is 36 hours my day should be 7 hours and 12 minutes. We can have a bit of variation around that and do accumulate Time in Lieu for extra worked. May change to 2 full days and 2 half days when my younger son starts school in september.

It varies every day but currently

    Monday. 8am - 3.15pm
    Tuesday. 8.30am - 6.30pm
    Wednesday. 8am - 1.20pm
    Thursday. 8.50am - 6pm
    Friday. 12.30pm - 1.15pm

I work in different schools so I don't actually get paid for all these hours! Some of it is travelling time between schools which I don't get paid for.

I recently changed my hours I was doing noon til 8pm 5 days a week but wanted to fit study in too so now work 4 week days 2pm til 11pm.

Works OK except the OH works either 6am-2pm or 2pm to 10pm or nights. When he's on early he's asleep when I finish work and I'm asleep when he leaves next day .

I've had a few different types of working patterns.

I've had the "Saturday job" as a teenager, which used a staggered system to have more staff available at peak times.. so my hours of duty were different each week. Then I did that and lots of evening over-time during the week which typically went from 16:00-21:00 or sometimes through to midnight.

My first full time job as an apprentice was 8:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday, and also alternating a couple of hours on a Saturday with the other apprentices.

Then I had a job which was basically Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:00, and whatever overtime we ended up doing out of necessity.

After that I worked for the NHS, doing shifts for a 24/7 Service. These ranged from 7:00 - 14:30, 13:30 - 21:30, 21:10 -7:10.. and we often doubled up the day shifts to do long days.

I'm currently doing an office based NHS job, Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00. This could soon change though.

Basically... there isn't a single day or second of the week that I haven't been at work during.

    41 with 5 lunch hours.

Flexible really, ideally need to be available between 10 and 4. In theory work from home when I want. Time of for appointments not a problem. There is no strict clock watching from manager, provided you are at all meetings and are getting work done you're broadly left alone.

    My standard day is 8:45 - 5:00ish.

    Never weekends.

I do a 37 hour week (and did in my previous job too). I had to do 8:30-5 at the old job with a 4:30 finish on Fridays.

The new job offers more in the way of flexitime but they do prefer consistency so they know when I'll be around. It involves a 30min commute (compared to my 5 min walk at the last job) so I like to travel at times to avoid the worst of the traffic. I usually start work around 8:15 each day, finishing around 4pm mon through to thurs and finish around 2-2:30pm on Friday (as soon as I've fulfilled my 37 hours). It's quite common for me to end up staying on an extra 15-30 minutes some days so I usually just finish earlier still on the Friday.

We've got some big projects coming up in the next few months though which I need to do a lot of preparation for, so I'm actually claiming some of the overtime at the moment so that I can keep up with all the usual tasks.

Officially my hours are 8:30-5 with a 4:30 finish on Fridays for the current job, this is to make it easier to manage annual leave or sick days.
