I shouldn't have played crysis!

I think game play is more important but when the graphics get in the way of that then the graphics become more important than the game.

If you can't see a ledge because it's jumping or breaking up or as in crysis you go through brush after brush and the damn things don't move then it becomes irritating and just gets in the way of the game play.

I don't need ultra realistic graphics, in fact I prefer my games to look like games not real life but I do want the graphics to slide into the background and not get in the way.

I understand in the example I gave of crysis, the walking through loads of brushes that moved was what the game was about i.e the graphics so would work on PC but the transfer to xbox just turns the game into an ordinary FPS as the graphics were not up to it, so imo the transfer was a little pointless as you loose what crysis was about.
