For a cheap night's stay for an early flight from Heathrow the next day would Sunningdale location be recommended?

It's the De Vere Venues, so Oulton Hall as mentioned above isn't included:

And not all the Venues are included, Whites at Bolton is missing for one.

Wychwood park is set on a golf course so its a nice location. It's about a 10 min drive off the m6 so a good hotel to use as a base for attractions in Staffordshire, Cheshire etc. it's a straight 5 miles down the road into Nantwich which is a very pretty market town, all sorts of events there most months of the year
Pepper street in Nantwich has a couple of nice cafes for breakfasts and lunches. The river is a nice place for picnic lunches - aldi, Morrisons and marks in town for getting picnic bits.
Chester is also well worth a visit, its quite a drive though but if you have a family rail card then you can get the train from Crewe to Chester and it only takes 20 mins.
On the main road outside Wychwood is a bus stop which I think has services to the train station in Crewe.
I'm local so I can answer any questions :)

  • Morning all,

I'm sorry to say the De Vere website is having technical problems this morning. Since this has happened during the last couple of room sales, we pressed it for further assurances that it wouldn't happen again before featuring it in the weekly email.

Sadly, it looks as though it has still not been able to cope with the spike in traffic.

I've been in touch to ask when it will be resolved and will update you as soon as possible.

    Best
