  • OMG! Spending splurge..... have just spent over £160 on health/beauty stuff:mad:
Felt great at the time, but time, but bl00dy !!!!!! now!!! On a (slightly) good note, a lot of it was for prezzies, and what I did order for me will last for most of the year (the last time I bought any was Jan!)And there are 4 free product which I can eBay when they come (depending of course on what they are!)

BUT thats more money to pay off the CC:mad: Why oh why do I do it!?! Is it any wonder we've been stuck at £3k left for so long!?!

REALLY REALLY must sort out my eBay box and get it listed.... and fix my Amazon account too!

Grrrr to me! Tomorrow really needs to be an NSD!:o

Don't beat yourself up Sarah, that cashback from the other day covers a fair bit of the total spend so half price pressies!

I feel for you though :o
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month
  • Thanks.... Its a pain because its a 'passport scheme' so we would have to claim some from the Icelandic scheme and some from ours! But it hasn't gone to the wall yet and apparently our lot and their lot are sorting something out.... Thankfully it is pay day on Friday, and theres always my family if need be. The annoying thing is all the money saved for Xmas is there too!

  • oh no sarah I feel for you. I hope you can get it back in time for christmas :D
  • Thanks Hun, I'm not sure how likely that is going to be, but at least I know now that we will get 100% of our money back! I ahve managed to log in and get an up to date balance for the accounts, so hopefully it will all work out..... Perversely, it gives me an excuse not to spend loads at Xmas :)

  • Well, everything's gone a bit Pete Tong.... not only have Icesave run away with all my money, but the BT I did from my Egg CC to my JS CC has been mucked up because someone typed in the wrong number, and paid off the wrong card (note - it wasn't me!) So now I have £1600 sat in two places, although luckily I'm only paying int on one (which I will be trying to claim back from JS anyway!).
So as I technically have no Stooze money, I will be changing my sig to reflect my actual cc balances.... this will look scary so I'll post my current one first!
Also I have stopped using my Stooze cards for now, as I don't wanna do my usual thing and overspend..... we are on a cash-only budget until I get our money back..... and it works well because OH knows there's no cash to fall back on, so its easier for me to say no to him!
I am still doing my monthly saves, so I will have small amount to fall back on (haircut/clothes/treats money, but that's less than £50:eek: ) Plus I am trying REALLY hard to not buy stuff unless I absolutely have to! Not doing too bad so far, but it is only week 1 of the month:o
Still not sure whats happening with Christmas yet.... trying to get the adults to agree to a secret Santa...... we'll see how that goes!
