Thought I'd better pop back for a mini update..... been taking a bit of a break from some MSE aspects, although I've been lurking around (sounds dodgy!
)
Loan comes out tomorrow, two paymants left after that - Yay!!! :T
Paid the minimum from the Egg, taking that down by about £37.
DFD still looking the same, but I'm taking a more chilled approach for a little while, as I was starting to get a bit too anal about it all, and winding myself up to the point where I was getting stressed out about small but necessary purchases... so I'm taking a breather for a while.
Good news is that with my Stooze pot, and the fact that all my debts are 0%, I have nearly filled my ISA allowance for the year - first time EVER!!!:D
And if the proverbial did hit the fan, I have enough in my Stooze pot and monthly saves combined, to clear all of my debts (and OH's as well, but I'm not telling him that!)
Anyways, thats it for now, gonna update my sig then I'm off to bed! Zzzzz'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Oh and I'm giving up on the £2 savers, as my stoozing means I hardly use cash at all! Well not giving up, but its out my sig....'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

and trying really hard to talk, he's copying everything we say:eek:
OH is scaring me... he has decided to get a normal current acc instead of his basic one because he needs to 'learn how to deal with money properly' - those were his words, not mine! He has got an OD on it but its only £100, so we'll see how that goes!
Stoozing's going ok atm, just need to get back into eBaying - might try to get some stuff listed, or at least prep'd tonight.

No, not yet..... 1st Oct, so a couple of days :T
I was tempted to pay it off early, but the money sat earning interest instead
Can't wait to have that £223 to put towards the CC instead!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Ok, update time.... I'm not gonna try to go back to the last time I posted, because I can't remember what happened yesterday, never mind two months ago!:rotfl:
Good news.... it would appear that my CC shuffle has paid off and that both BTs have gone through :T Its a bit complicated, but bear woth me!
I received some cheques from Skycard that I could use to pay off a CC and transfer it to them 0%, 3% fee until March 09.... Good times, as my Egg card 0% deal finishes at the end of Oct. BUT my Egg acc is all online, so I cannot use the cheques to pay off the balance
I also got my Sains bank CC statement through, offering me a 0% BT, 3% fee, until June 09. Because all I had to do was write the card number, I could use that to pay off my Egg. Yay! But as I already had a balance on there (0% on purchases at Sainsburys until June 09, plus double Nectar points - I should point out that I work at Sains, so also get staff discount), I used the Sky cheque to pay some off the Sains, so I could BT the Egg onto there. Phew!
So my debt has increased by £88.50, but with my ISA/high int savings earning approx £40 a month after tax, that will pay for itself before Xmas!:T
My CC debt in my sig is the difference between what I have saved and the balances of all the cards.... I have another 0% on purchases til Mar 09 card, whch all non-food shopping goes onto. Now our debt has increased by about £600 in the last few months, as I ot a bit carried away with the whole 0% purchases thing, and spent more than we were saving  But that will change from pay day, which is a week Friday (there may be a little more damage yet
) The whole financial situation with this country has kinda spurred me on again to get saving/earning more!
OH is getting a bit better too, still smoking  but spending less over all! If our DF is a boat, he used to be clinging on to the side treading water, but now his arm is over the edge, and he's trying to get his leg up and over too.
We are snowballing his CC as part of the whole debt, and last month he paid £150 off it, bringing it back out of arrears, and he actually won't get a charge this time! He did celebrate by buying two lots of Dominoes though, but the card is firmly in my grasp now and out of his sight! His limit is £500, so even with the charge that is due (it will be the last!) he will still be well within his limit, and will be paying off at least another £100 on payday.
Tonight I am going to sort through all my Amazon stuff and relist it all - its been so long since I've been on there, I think they may have deleted my account  I'm also going to search for the camera and battery charger, and get some eBay stuff photo'd so I can list on Friday while DS is at nursery - I'm on hols from work for the rest of the week
That's it for now, I've been on here for nearly two hours
 and now I am hungry!
EDIT: Forgot to say, paid in £105 to my savings today, which included £60 of £2s

Yay! Check me out with my trophy for achieving my NSDs in Sept..... roll on Oct!
Also, MY LOAN HAS FINISHED :j
:T :money: Last payment went out today, so thats £223.25 a month we can throw at the CCs.... must make a new snowball and see what it looks like. I'm so pleased.
In other news, OH seems to have forgotten that he wanted to buy a new car
We rented one when we went on hols in the summer, and it was lovely (brand new Passat Estate, went like stink compared to my beaten up old 306!) So I won't mention that to him at all! 'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0
