Is this package good value

Currently with Sky for everything and had a package offer from BT

16Meg unlimited broadband
Free Wireless box
BT VISION Plus box
FreeView
BT Sport
Free International Calls
Free 0845 - 0870

All for £37.35 per month. Does this look like a good deal?

    Why not push for fibre in that? would that not improve the vision \ streaming side of things?

    What you have to look at is what TV channels you want, and what you get now.

    I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. But from what I understand BT Vision is just freeview with pay per view available. So to get the channels you want it could work out costing more.

    Its not infinity if its "16Meg unlimited broadband".

    Infinity is the 38Mb and above offerings - thought make sure unlimited downloads...

    You can get phone and internet cheaper than that. The BT Sport isn't bad but you're basically just going to have Freeview + BT Sport so you'll be missing out on most of the channels you get with Sky.

    Theres been some right tosh posted on here about BT TV.

    If the OP has been offered BT Infinity these are the channels that are on offer over and above Freeview and the catch up TV players -

    You get 18 channels as part of the Unlimited Extra and Essential Extra pack. You'll also get access to four HD channels.

    You'll find these in the TV Guide from numbers 851 to 998. These are:

    851 BBC1 HD England
    852 BBC2 HD / BBC Two HD
    853 ITV1 HD
    854 Channel 4 HD
    855 GOLD
    856 Comedy Central
    857 Watch
    858 Universal
    859 FOX
    860 alibi
    861 syfy
    862 MTV
    863 E!
    875 TLC (Previsouly Discovery Real Time)
    885 Discovery
    886 History
    887 Crime & Investigation
    888 Nat Geo
    889 Nat Geo WILD
    890 Animal Planet
    937 Eurosport 1
    938 Eurosport 2

    The above 'extra channels pack' costs £2.50 a month.

    There's also sport channels as listed below which you'll need to subscribe to in addition to the Extra TV channels pack:

    All the above are 'free'.
