Having satisfied myself NFC works on my 'phone (Samsung Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250) & it can read NFC tags - I read my passport - weird seeing the 'phone display my passport photo with the passport closed.... I wondered if anyone had any practical uses/apps for NFC reading with a Smartphone in UK??
Or know of any planned on any forums discussing the matter??
Regards & thanks in advance...

I will have to try that, my handset will vibrate to say it has detected an NFC terminal/device.
I use the NFC tag in the car which I find convenient.0 -
Isn't there a way to store an Oystercard on an NFC-enabled phone?0
