    Morning :hello:

Anyone heard from miffy257? Haven't seen her posting for a while.

I'm not looking forward to the weekend, we're having the gutters replaced and I hate being disrupted, specially on a saturday :D They need doing though - they're old iron ones and they leak A LOT. I think they're only held together by rust and peeling paint :D

Pulled up three turnips the other day :T I keep a running total each year of how much veg we've grown, they're the first item on the 2013 spreadsheet :D Managed to kill some mustard and cress though, lol.

I've been going through every drawer and cupboard in the house. Have had a good sort out, thrown some things away and found other bits that I've put to one side for when I've finished. I'm sure I'll be able to make a couple of picture frames and a little box out of them. I'm thinking maybe my own treasure chest :D

Master tru is a carpenter, he's just handed in his notice at work. They asked him to stay for six weeks so he agreed. They also said he's shot straight to the top of their subbie list :T They use subbies all the time so he'll do alright just from them :D There's a maintenance man locally, he's always stacked out with work and has offered master tru all the carpentry work. He's also got a long list of his own work waiting for him :T His van money is in an envelope, ready to be spent. I think I'm more excited about this than he is, lol.

Morning all, just popping in quickly as I need to get myself in gear and be out the door by 7.55!
Off to Halifax this morning for one of our events so I will wait and eat breakfast there, will munch on a cereal bar and banana on the way to the office to meet my boss :-)
Lunch will be some noodles or a cuppa soup from my draw at work as I won't fancy a sandwich after bacon butties for breakfast and we have no salad stuff in other than tomatoes!

My tea tonight will be sausage, an egg, veggies and mash or perhaps a few oven chips.

Need to get bf's suitcase unpacked as I haven't sorted that yet from when he got back at the weekend and also get the clean washing away. They will be jobs for tonight, they won't take long I've just been slacking!

Well , I hope everyone has good days. Will pop by again this afternoon or maybe tonight depending on how busy we end up being!

    Morning All

Absolutely pouring down here today - so much for getting the grass cut!
Any washing will go on the airers, no heatwave for us - nmlc we don't appear to need sun cream here, just WD40 for rust!!

Going for a swim and then need to get a birthday card for a friend and deliver her pressie. Off to the hospice later.

    Anyone heard from Monnogran?

    Take care. XX

    Morning all,

the men were out of the house bright and early this morning. 'Youngest' is now officially employed (for a few weeks anyway). It seemed strange packing up the lunches for the two of them last night. Still, at least I don't have to fit in my housework schedule round a still sleeping son.:D

I spent yesterday afternoon going through old photos and scanning them to put on my pc. Ive backed them up on an online storage facility too. Ive thrown so many paper photos away as they haven't stood the test of time but the few I have, I have now backed up. Since the remaining photos are faded I shall probably chuck the paper copies away.

Usual household chores to be done today (including the bedding) and theres a few bits and pieces I want to do too.

Salmon for tea I think. Usual mash for hubby and boiled for me and 'Youngest', mixed veg and cheese sauce.

    Weather looks hopeful.

Have a good day all :)

    Morning all,

I've managed to more than half my home and contents insurance on line, some of the renewals are crazy, I think they just hope people are busy and will let it automatically renew.
Hubby has no work today but will be tackling the leak under the bath so at least a productive day.
I plan to nip into the local town and pop in the library and the opticians. It's the market today as well so always very busy.
My DGS went to his new primary school last night and had a look around , my daughter said he loved it. She went with her ex, at least they can be civil to each other. When he does start in September we will pick him up one night a week. My DD is very excited not to have to pay his nursery fees after August which she has paid for the last three years and could have easily paid a mortgage with:eek:
It's overcast here but should brighten up, I'm planning a barbi on Saturday so hopefully the weather will pick up as promised.
My tooth is better today and managed a sleep last night, hope whatever he did has fixed it for good, back on the 11 th for a permanent filling.
Have a good Thursday all x

    Morning all
Bit grey and overcast here this morning, but hopefully it will brighten up later.
Thursday again so shopping day, really don't need a lot this week just fresh stuff, unless there is any reduced meat to be had :D
I watched Andy through open fingers yesterday, it really was a tough fight, still he needed a little kick in his complacency after his early Three straight set wins in a row. The Cameron curse nearly got him...........So Mr Cameron do not tweet, text or phone him any more!
I so want him to finally win this year, but Jockavic (sp?) is looking dangerous.
Right must fly DH has just got home.

    Morning peeps :)

I thought we were having rain today but its muggy and dry. Ain't complaining though ;)
Having a benny hill mad 45 mins hoovering, bleaching bathroom before I head off to school. I am helping a group of DS and his class mates walk to junior school. Poor DS is finding all this quite hard now it's getting close, he's struggling and anxious at night which I am finding hard to deal with :o please solicitors give me a moving date so I know what to tell my son about which school he's going to

Anyway enough of my moaning, once I get back from walking to junior school is more chores. I've brushed Luna  I swear 4/5ths of her body weight must be hairs alone. When does one stop brushing because so far the hair hasn't stopped coming out :eek:

Tea tonight will be chicken stir fry, H will have noodles but I won't as I am fasting.

Hugs and spoons all round xx

Camelot hope it stops raining for you am :rotfl: at you all needed WD40 for rust. The joys of living oop north eh? ;)

Tru great news for Master Tru :T

Halight hope twins are feeling better soon xxxx

    Morning all!
Still piddling down, brother sent me a text at half 6 to see if I was up, to take his waterproof trousers to him at work, a sensible person would have left them in the car, I fear!
FS, I did the same with DD, she has had her own towels for years, but when her boyfriend stays he uses every bathsheet in the pile then puts them in the washing basket, I wait till he turns his back and dry them and give him them back!
Not sure what to get up to today, ironing basket is empty, don't need to go to supermarket, can't be bothered with housework but the oven is seriously grotty, might go to Lakeland for some oven cleaner and tackle that.
    Have a good day all...

    Morning All,

JackieO - glad you had such a great experience at the concert, sounds like you put your MSE head to good use for food and drink! :money:

Sun just breaking through here now, so looks like a pleasant day ahead.

GS coming to stay tonight, so I will be playing football again tonight no doubt. He is such a well behaved child, it is a pleasure to play games with him.

    Have a good day everyone.
