SMS from UK to US
I want the a contract deal to let me send SMS messages from my mobile to the US as cheaply as possible (which I have to do frequently). Currently, the cheapest deal I can find is mobileworld (15p/text) but it's only PAYG. If you go on Carphone Warhouse's contract deal instead, then the price jumps to 30p/text!
Anyone got any suggestions?

There are some mobile Java programs that send the equivalent over wap/gprs, described in the thread linked below and others. The cheapest and pretty reliable is Vyke at 2 US cents, then your network charges you probably under a penny for the data cost

In fact, recently Vyke introduced a Pro version, where if both phones are on and logged in the messages are actually free, or a paid one sent will automatically open the program at the destination phone
