BT and email

I'm having a real problem downloading my BT emails.

I normally receive emails via both outlook express on my PC and also on my iphone.

Last week both told me my username or password were incorrect even though I hadn't made any changes to the settings.

I contacted online support and was told to log into yahoo and change my password. After doing that and updating the password on outlook express and iphone it worked ok but today the problem is back so I have changed the password again. This time it only worked for one download of emails and at my second attempt once again I have the 'incorrect username/password' message.

Anyone else having problems?

    Hi glitrer123

Hmm sounds strange. I'll be happy to have a closer look and find out why this is happening.

Could you drop me in an email please? Just use the contact form under my forum profile.

    Cheers

We have been getting this problem and BT can't sort it out.

We both work from home and so frustrated. I can't tell you how many times I've charged the passwords. Also we are having connection problems now, it drops.

Since I was told my bt e-mail needed updating I have not been able to receive any e-mails to my bt address on my dedicated e-mail programme, very annoying. It worked fine before the 'improvement'. I have spent many phone calls with the call centre getting me to download heaven knows what then telling me the 5 minute window is up so need to start again. I have given up even trying now and have to use the Yahoo site. Not very good is it?
