Have the same mower , have set mine at 4 , yes I get the stripes ,I cut both ways .
Stripes look MUCH better if straight, so take your time.0 -

I really like the Bosch mower. The only thing that lets it down is the grass box which is a bit flimsy but bar that I love it. I got mine for 90 pound when they had so much off at B and Q0
