I contacted the Sun via a link on MSE and have been emailed a priority code thanks. If you have had a Sun holiday in the last 2 yrs -contact them as they will email you a code. xxx

^^ That's what I do - I offer to the top person on the list but warn them that they've only got 24hrs to reply before I go to the next person. I would rather give the code to a regular MSE user (ie. checks in daily or has email notification set up) than to somebody who's hopped onto this thread solely for the purpose of obtaining a booking ref and who then disappears again, contributing nothing to the MSE community in return.

hi

i am a tota newbie (it has taken me nearly an hour to register so i can post a reply although i read the site all the time!

I have 3 reference codes which i dont need but dont want to write them here in case there is a fight for them - how do i give them to the 1st 3 on the list? I am a total non techy so please give me advice in easy to understand terms

You need to send a private message to the first three people named on the list, which are:

dx4100
cherylelizabeth1
hobittjones

Each of those links (the names are links) will take you to the member's profile page. On that page, just below their name, you'll find a link "Send Message" which will take you to a private messaging page.

Write them a brief message explaining that you have a booking reference to offer and are they interested? They should respond, and if they don't you can always write to the next person on the list (nic2075). You'll get a pop-up on screen on MSE when you get a reply, depending on your settings you might also get an email. You can then read their reply, and respond with the actual booking reference if they want it.

Does that help? You can also get to Private Messaging by clicking Quick Links on the right of the forum toolbar (just below the little men pictures for Forum Help, Etiquette etc) and then Private Messages.
