There are always lots of newbies in these threads, and some of them never come back and you don't even know if they used the code, while there are others desperately asking for one when the code is cracked.

I don't know what a fairer way would be though, maybe to PM the person to say you have a code, but don't tell them what it is, and if they don't reply within 24 hours you offer it to somebody else? That's a lot of hassle for the person giving away a code though, because if they're not booking a holiday themselves they won't want to be following the thread for days. Maybe somebody could be 'thread monitor' and distribute the codes :rotfl:
