Sounds like the dealer will do an MOT and issue you a new certificate when they sell it to you.

One thing of note is that the tax on that car expired at the end of September, so as well as paying for the car you'll also have to pay for the tax, which will be a rather hefty £260 for 12 months. Something to consider, and perhaps use to negotiate with the dealer.

Hi there,
Can anybody help me.
I am buying a car and the vehicle check came back as Export Status : Export DD/MM?YYYY.
What does this mean for me buying the car, please help.
Thing did not come up in DVLA search, only the vehicle check that the dealer has given to me.
I called the DVLA, they couldn't provide any info!
