I am thinking of changing from an Orange pay monthly contract to a Tesco sim only contract. I just want to check that the inclusive minutes are for any network, not just Tesco? Thank you:)

    That's correct.

Don't forget to check signal (Tesco use O2) before buying and make sure you're aware of all T&C and minimum tie in. Also remember that Tesco allow you to cap your contract which can be quite useful.

Bear in mind numbers starting 08 are not included in the allowance.

  • If you want to use 08 numbers on your mobile have a look at a superb app called WeQ4U. It's saved me a fortune.

PS If you are committing to more than one month with a new supplier I really would advise to try their PAYG SIM first. The online network coverage graphs are not always 100% accurate.

Really? A minute ad across the top of the dialing screen when the call gets made? In fact, until this post I'd never even noticed an ad at all so just had a butchers.

Got any ad free (and free!) alternatives that can save me the same money? I'm happy to try anything if there is better out there.

There are many similar apps but AFAIAA only WeQ4U has the 'queue at no charge' USP. That's the part that saves me the most money when i ring a company.
