    His lunch subsidy is simply a tax saving on his lunch costs. as his is working mobile and not expected to be in the same contract for 2 years

    i.e it is removed prior to tax so it does not get taxed, and then it is added onto his net wage afterwards

    very roughly speaking is you are a basic tax payer and they are taking say £100 per month as your lunch costs then you will be about £20 per month better off.

    Ok so I have found out what the supplement is, once the lunch subsidy comes out of my wage it takes my wage below minimum wage then the government top the wage back up to minimum with the supplement. Considering my company dont actually pay my lunch is this even legal?????
