hello me again..
brother in law's computer is fine ,, we got a email from them last night , brother in law is the one who we got the virus off through the bt yahoo messanger service ..
this is what the email said : my computer is fine , no problems with it . i had it from a frenid , who warned me not to take a message from the bloke whom he named.
its funny how that message/virus got sent to us , it came through the yahoo messanger so the message/virus was already open..
can virus's be sent through the messanger service i thought they were all sent via email ..
anyway now the computers ruined ,,
did my brother in law send the virus/bt yahoo messanger message through to our computer..
just a bit baffled..

its weird how the virus spread without me clicking on it..
see you from kerry.
ps
thankyou for all your help..0 -
You dont have to click it as messenger does open it for you so the virus is activated when you read the message. There are virus protectors for Instant Messengers out there. I know Zonealarm has one but couldnt tel you if the free version does.0
