What beautiful dogs you all have, unfortunately my partner and I both work long hours and it will be a few years yet until we can have a dog of our own :( in the meantime I come on here to get my 'doggy fix' and some of your photo's really brighten my day. :)

    Bet x

Mine gets a decent walk around the field in the mornings, his lovely dog walkers give him an hour playing with other social dogs and he gets another run around the fields and some pavement walks after i'm home from work - he's happy :)

Picture the scene its a clear bitter cold winters night. I am trudging through the middle of a large dark silent forest. In the distance this soft blue white glow manifests. Its slowly getting bigger and brighter and has the gentle tinkle of bells. the wispy blue light is moving in different directions, weaving.

Its gets brighter, the tinkling getting louder and nearer.

The glow is ethereal and very pretty seeming to flit through the trees all over the place, the tinkling sweet and soft... My brain started jumping about trying to place such a phenomenon.. thinking fairies? aliens...?

Suddenly the out of the dark appears what looks like two polar bears each with a large blue light trimmed glowing harness with bells attached.

I decided i was having some sort of mental crisis and maybe i needed to call someone..... when the owner walked into the clearing patted one on the head and wandered past me.

I was flabbergasted. They then both came up to say hello.

I laughed all the way home... fairies, idiot. :rotfl:

Thats how i met my first samoyed. :D
