Parking charge @ supermarket

Options
Hi there, I have received a parking charge from Parking Eye for overstaying my welcome at a supermarket car park.

There is a photograph of the car on the notice showing the registration.

I don't have any receipts from the store (and I'm not sure whether it would help in this case).

Grateful for any advice.

    Aldi by chance ?

OK, first of all some questions :

    1. Was the ticket put on your windscreen or posted to you ?
    2. What was the date on the ticket ?
    3. If it was posted to you what date was it delivered to you ?

Lots of info on here already for this common problem.
Basically you send them a soft appeal as per one posed by stroma ( search for "Dear Scammers").

Then you get the POPLA appeal code and put an appeal into POPLA based on the fact that that PPC has no right to charge you. See coupon-mad's excellent reasons in her post #33 here from Other Points onwards.

Okay if it's in England or Wales , send this to them to get a popla code to appeal independently, once you receive that we can help you draw up a very strong defence that should get this cancelled for you. Don't do that alone as the defence there will be on their ability to ticket

    Dear Parking Eye,

In reference to the speculative invoice received xxxxxx dated xxxxxx, the keeper denies all liability to your company as it is an unlawful punitive charge, thus a penalty! If you reject this challenge the keeper requires within 35 days a popla verification code for them to appeal independently, per Version 3 of the BPA Code of Practice.

The keeper has nothing further to add, and will not respond to any correspondence from your company unless it contains the popla code, furthermore the keeper is fully aware that you must pay £27+Vat for this, so don't forget!

The challenge will be deemed accepted if there is no popla code on any rejection that you supply within the time-frame stipulated above.

    Yours Faithfully

Okay will have to do it in hard copy as the online appeal makes you fill in quite a few details!

No guarantees but our success rate is 100% so far, since around March when we learnt what appeal points POPLA adjudicators like best.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I got a letter from such a company asking me to pay £70 for overstaying my welcome at Asda. I received this letter SEVEN WEEKS after the alleged incident. This was the first correspondence I received and there was nothing left on the car at the time. Surely there is a time limit to these notices. Does anyone know what the time limit is?
