Unlimited Internet - Fair Usage?

Hi Guys,

I have a contract with virgin (got my phone last week) on the £35 a month VIP unlimited tariff (unlimited calls, texts, calls to 0845, 0800 , 0870 numbers and internet)

When they say unlimited, is there a fair usage policy or is it really unlimited?

I don't really download films etc., its mainly game apps but I am on the internet quite a lot

thanks

it's the usual mobile industry play on words in that you can use as much data as you want but only the first 3.5gb in any month will be at 'proper' speed, then they will slow you down to much lower speeds until the end of the month. Also IIRc their 'unlimited' minutes is actually 3000 as is their unlimited texts. Don't know how they get away with it TBH.

To be entirely honest, before signing up for a 2 year contract you really should have drilled down into the T&cs.
